Next week's order comes from next week's events, not last week's averages.

Every tool in the market right now proposes an order from par levels, which is a statistic about the past. Havenue proposes it from your booked events.

Havenue already knows your event book, so it writes next week's order automatically: what your events need, minus what is on the shelf, minus what is already on its way, split into one order per supplier and inside each supplier's cut-off and delivery days. Nobody has to work it out, and nobody has to be in on a Sunday.

The problem this solves

Next week's order gets worked out by hand, usually on a Sunday, usually by one person. When they are away the kitchen over-orders or runs out, and you find out at service. Havenue writes that order from the events you have already sold, so it is on the screen on Monday for anyone senior to check and send.

How it works

  1. Shop by ingredient, not by supplier: Search for what you are short of. Havenue shows who sells it and what each one truly costs once the pack sizes are levelled, so the cheapest-looking price and the cheapest price are the same thing.
  2. One basket for every supplier: Add everything the week needs in one pass and Havenue sorts it by supplier as you go. A week's buying takes one screen instead of three systems and three emails.
  3. Send once, and it splits itself: One button writes one order per supplier, each with its own number. Send it by email under your own branding, by WhatsApp, or log the one you placed over the phone.
  4. Confirm what actually arrived: Tick it off at the back door on a phone, or let the supplier's bill fill the delivery in for you and confirm it in one tap.

Buy the whole week from every supplier in one basket

You are short of parsley, cream and salmon. Put all three in one basket and Havenue sorts them by supplier as you go, shows how far each supplier is from their minimum order, and turns one send into one purchase order per supplier, each with its own number. You never open three systems or write three emails.

Under a supplier's minimum, Havenue tells you exactly how much more the order needs to clear it, so you either top it up or move those lines to another supplier.

Let the supplier's bill fill in the delivery

The bill already lists what they sent and what they charged for it. Havenue reads it, fills the delivery in from it, and hands you the whole thing to confirm in one tap. Nobody retypes goods that are already written down on a document Havenue has read, and your shelf goes up by exactly what arrived.

Prefer to count it in? Your team ticks it off at the door and Havenue checks the bill against what they recorded. Trust a supplier without counting? Approving their bill fills the delivery in.

How much of last month's food did anyone actually look at?

Every delivery records how it was confirmed: counted at the door, or taken on the supplier's word from the bill. So Havenue can tell you, supplier by supplier, what share of your spend a person actually checked. No other catering or inventory system on the market reports that.

Supplier invoices carry an error in roughly 3.6% of transactions, on the Institute of Finance and Management's published figure. This is the number that tells you which of yours got looked at.

Every line tells you why it is on the order

Before the numbers, each line says what put it there: your booked events need it, it is below your top-up level, or it is what is left over after whole packs. So you approve next week's buying by reading a dozen reasons instead of checking every figure on every line by hand.

You stop ordering the same case twice, because anything already on its way has been taken off before Havenue proposes anything.

What you get

  • You never order it twice: Anything already on its way comes off before Havenue suggests anything, so you stop paying for the same case two weeks running.
  • Your team builds it, you send it: A sous chef can put next week's order together without being able to send it. The head chef reviews and sends. Buying stops waiting on one person to be free.
  • It reaches your supplier the way they actually work: Some take email, some only answer WhatsApp, some still want a phone call. Havenue sends it the way each supplier reads it, and keeps your copy of the order either way.
  • Next week's spend, before you commit to it: The order shows what the week costs you before it is sent, so you can trim it against the margin you booked rather than finding out when the bills arrive.
