# Orders built from next week, not last week

Havenue already holds your booked events, their menus and their guest counts. So it can propose the order before anyone opens a spreadsheet, and every line says why it is there.

Four screens behind one page. Suggested proposes what to order and explains itself. Orders carries every purchase order with a real state. Receiving is built for a phone at the back door. Costs holds the price changes waiting for your review before they touch what your dishes cost.

## The problem this solves

Sunday night, somebody sits with a spreadsheet and next week's events, working out the order by hand. They are the only person who knows how it is done. When they are on holiday the kitchen either over-orders or runs out, and nobody can tell which until the van arrives.

## How it works

1. **Havenue proposes** : It takes what your booked events need, subtracts what you already have, adds anything below its par level, subtracts what is already on order, and groups the rest by supplier inside their lead time and delivery days.
2. **Your head chef adjusts** : Every line shows event demand, par target, stock on hand, already on order, need and the rounding surplus. Change a quantity, drop a line, add one from the catalog.
3. **Send it, or record that you phoned it** : Branded email, or WhatsApp, or mark it as placed elsewhere so Havenue stays the record even when the order went out another way.
4. **Receive what actually turned up** : At the door, on a phone. Short, damaged, rejected, wrong item, substituted. Confirm once, and only this raises stock.

## What you get

- **Every line explains itself** : Event demand, below par, or both, with the target and your current stock beside it. A suggestion that cannot say why it is there is a suggestion you should ignore.
- **On-order is netted off** : Quantities already on a sent order are subtracted before anything is proposed, so the same crates are never ordered twice.
- **Late says late** : A delivery past its date reads "3 days late" on the screen you are looking at, not a grey date that looks like every other date.
- **Draft it, or send it, but not both by accident** : Blocked, Viewer, Draft and Full. Draft is the one kitchens ask for: build and edit orders, change quantities, but never send, revise, cancel or receive.
- **Orders you placed by phone still count** : Mark an order as placed elsewhere and Havenue stays the system of record, so your spend and supplier performance do not develop a hole.
- **An Orders calendar** : Deliveries, place-by dates and tasks on the same month rail as your events, with filters and saved views scoped to orders.
